Jerry Seawell-
While attending high school, Jerry began scuba diving in
the cold waters of Northern California. In 1974 he
became a commercial diver working in the offshore oil
diving industry, harbor construction, and later the sea
urchin harvesting industry. Later his interests in diving
took a turn and he took up underwater photography.
After publishing numerous u/w photos and articles, Jerry
realized that the still picture media can only capture a
fraction of the underwater realm. Since then he began
motion picture and video taping underwater and that is
where his passion remains today.
Jerry is an active diver and a member of PADI and NAUI.
Besides his commercial diving experience Jerry is
certified as a Rescue Diver and Dive Master. His dive
adventures has led him to Hawaii, Panama, Thailand,
Alaska, and of course his beloved Northern California.
Jerry's specialty is the north and central coastal regions
of California, along with the numerous fresh water lakes
in the area.
Jerry is available for assignments to help solve your u/w
video needs.
